The announcement of the new generation mesoscopic in vivo microscopy system, RUSH3D
The RUSH3D system boasts a centimeter-scale three-dimensional field of view with subcellular resolution, while achieving high-speed 3D imaging at 20 Hz for continuous low-light toxicity observation lasting up to tens of hours. Compared to the most advanced commercial fluorescence microscopes on the market, RUSH3D increases the imaging field area nearly a hundredfold at the same resolution, enhances the 3D imaging speed by tens of times, and reduces light toxicity by over a hundredfold (effectively extending the observation duration by a hundredfold). Unlike traditional optical microscopes, which focus on the material interactions within a single cell, RUSH3D allows researchers, for the first time, to dynamically observe tissue heterogeneity at the organ scale with cellular precision in a panoramic view. This enables in situ studies of large-scale and diverse cell dynamics in complete physiological and pathological processes within living tissues.
